Renting the Rudd Center

The CIA's Rudd Center is available for private wine tastings, receptions, public relations events, seminars, or meetings. You may rent either one or both classrooms, the whole center, or space in our private dining room. If you are interested in using the Rudd Center for your next special event, please contact Eileen Wagstaffe at 707-967-2307.

CIA Facilities: Designed for Wine

The nerve center of wine education at the CIA is the multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies. Equipped with two tastings theaters, every detail of this technologically advanced facility exists to support and optimize your wine education experience.

In the Rudd Center's Napa Valley Vintners Association Tasting Theatre and Viking Range Corporation Tasting Theatre, you'll find everything you need to evaluate wines. Each seat has a lighted panel for accurate visual wine evaluation and a private spittoon-sink for tastings. Both theaters in the Rudd Center are also configured for video and Internet presentations, further enhancing your enological learning experience.

"The wine sensory classrooms at CIA Greystone's Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies are designed to minute details for the optimal sensory evaluation of wine and the comfort of our students. Both classrooms are small and intimate, allowing for a high level of personal interaction between instructors and students. Combine these qualities with the sheer beauty of the stone building and vineyard views and you have a facility unparalleled in the United States." - Karen MacNeil, Chairperson, Professional Wine Studies, CIA Greystone, Author, The Wine Bible
