Certified Culinary Sales Professional (CCSP) Program
Anyone in sales knows that it's all about relationships. And your culinary salespeople will be able to build strong ones with the chefs, chef-operators, and culinary purchasers they call on, once they have an experiential understanding of the professional kitchen. That's what the CCSP program is all about.
Driving Sales Through Training
Designed by foodservice industry leaders, this results-oriented program builds the foundation of knowledge your team needs to increase sales, customer satisfaction, and return on investment. In just four months, they will gain an understanding of culinary fundamentals, learn to speak the same language as the chefs they interact with, and examine the management and operational practices of foodservice organizations.
Cost-Effective Learning—Online and On Campus
Ideal for busy professionals, the CCSP program offers the perfect blend of online self-study and hands-on training:
- Convenient multi-week "distance learning" segments accessed online 24 x 7; topics include food and kitchen safety, equipment identification, culinary fundamentals, product identification, food purchasing, and menu analysis
- A term assignment/case study focusing on increasing sales and ROI
- Three days at the CIA Hyde Park, NY campus, working hands-on in our kitchens and discussing participants' case studies
- A shadow experience of six to eight hours that will shed light on the nuances of chefs, kitchens, and foodservice industry customers
- The expert support of the CCSP chef-instructor, who is easily reached throughout the program via e-mail
Certification from the World's Premier Culinary College
Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive the Certified Culinary Sales Professional (CCSP) credential from The Culinary Institute of America—earning them new respect from customers and enhancing your company's reputation for delivering expert solutions.
