AGED PORT CHEDDAR SPREAD

Ingredients Amount
Cheddar cheese, aged ½ lb.
Aged port, flambé alcohol ¼ cup
Currant jelly 1 Tbsp.
Sage, fried and minced 2 tsp.

Method

  1. Leave the cheddar cheese out at room temperature at least 2 hours before preparation.

  2. In a food processor, whip cheddar cheese with port, sage, and currant jelly.

  3. Serve in a clay crock with crackers.
