Financial Aid and Scholarships
Qualified students enrolling in The Culinary Institute of
America's Accelerated Culinary Arts Certificate Program can apply for the
Federal Stafford Loan and the Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan. Parents of
dependent students may apply for the Federal PLUS, and should contact their
bank or lending institution for details.
The financial aid application process is administered by The
Culinary Institute of America's Financial Aid Office in Hyde
Park, NY. Interested applicants
should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. In
conjunction with the FAFSA, some students may be asked to submit a completed Institute
Supplemental Form to the Financial Aid Office. Call the Financial Aid Office at

Scholarships
Any member of the ACAP Deans Advisory Committee
can nominate a program applicant for a $2,000 merit-based scholarship by
writing a letter of recommendation for them. For a full listing of the Deans on

The Classic Residences by Hyatt Endowed Scholarship is
available to graduates of accredited undergraduate nutrition, dietetics, food
science or hospitality programs in the amount of $5,000. CIA Greystone Admissions Staff and Faculty will review student
applications submitted by May 1, and make recommendations based on academic
records, extracurricular activities and the personal essay portion of the
program application. Final selection will be made in consultation with Classic
Residences by Hyatt. |
